The Story
I'm Alex. By weekday I work a sales desk. Every other hour goes into this: climbing, running, filming, and building GoldenSky Outdoors from nothing, in public, one summit at a time.
No sponsors handed this to me. No trust fund. The desk job funds the dream until the dream funds itself, and every step of that trade is part of the story: the training runs before sunrise, the drives to the trailhead, the first brew at the top.
GoldenSky Outdoors runs on three pillars:
Expedition films and summit stories from the places worth carrying a camera to.
Ultras, mud runs, and marathons. The engine that makes the mountains possible.
Slow mornings and good coffee. The reason to stop and look at the view.
The Mission
The 50 State High Points Summit Series: stand on the roof of every state in America, and mark each one the same way: the first brew at the summit. Every climb is filmed. Every cup counts toward the story.

The Flagship
Everything on this site points at one mountain. In January 2027 I fly to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro: 19,341 feet to Uhuru Peak, the highest freestanding mountain on Earth.
It's the end of the founding chapter and the reason the coffee exists: the beans in our Founders Batch grow on Kilimanjaro's own slopes. Summit morning, I'll brew a cup of it on the crater rim, the highest first brew of the series.
